Linda Marie Thies Murder Update – Linda Marie Thies was a murdered American woman in 1986; Terrence Lee Waters and Roy Lee Lewis were charged with first-degree murder in her death. Here’s what we currently know.

Linda Marie Thies was an American woman who was murdered in 1986 by Terrence Lee Waters and Roy Lee Lewis, two Landover males. They were apprehended and charged with Linda’s murder. Her body was discovered near a train track in Southeast D.C. on Saturday.

As per police sources and documents filed in D.C. Superior Court, Thies was raped by two men who killed her to cover up the assault. Though Thies’ family said Linda was trying to beat her history of drug abuse and had enlisted in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program, she escorted the men who later murdered her because they offered to share PCP with her.

As reported by her family, Thies had dominated the drug and alcohol abuse and the wild behavior that marked her adolescence.

There has not been made any official update regarding Linda Maria Thies’s murder. As we know, Terrence Lee Waters and Roy Lee Lewis were charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Thies, described by Linda’s family as someone who had used drugs but was trying to neaten out her life.

Waters was from 1923 Ray Leonard Rd and was arrested about 10:45 p.m. at D.C. police headquarters, where he had gone for questioning, while Lewis was from 2015 Ray Leonard Rd, and he was arrested about 5:30 p.m. on a D.C. Superior Court warrant.

According to the Washington Post, Waters was held without bond pending a November 14, 1986 hearing. And Lewis was held in Prince George’s County pending extradition to the District. However, further updates regarding their case have not been revealed by the authorities.

Linda Maria Thies age was just 22 years at the time of her death. She was born in 1964 to her parents in the United States. Furthermore, Thies was pretty close to her family, but the details regarding her father and mother have remained a mystery for a long time.

All of them were devasted by the death of Theis as she was killed in 1986. For your information, Thies was buried in First Lutheran Cemetery, located in Bowie, Prince George’s County, Maryland, USA.
