When Iowa TV news anchor Jodi Huisentruit doesn’t arrive for her morning show, her colleagues immediately sense that something is amiss. Huisentruit’s red Mazda Miata remains in the parking lot, along with other signs indicating a possible struggle took place there. Scattered around are her personal belongings: a hairdryer, lipstick, red high-heeled shoes, and a bent car key.
A mysterious palm print was collected from her vehicle by the police. Neighbors reported hearing screams around the time Huisentruit was supposed to leave for work. Despite extensive efforts, the well-loved TV personality has been missing for over twenty years. Recently, search warrants concerning a person of interest from that time have been partially released.
