In a sweeping operation yesterday, authorities conducted searches at eight residences located in Hurstville, Riverwood, Revesby, and Beverly Hills. The raids led to the discovery and seizure of a ballistic vest and over 800 rounds of ammunition.
The confiscated drugs have an estimated street value of $3 million, including 24.9 kilograms of methylamphetamines and 2.9 kilograms of heroin.
At a separate location in Granville, law enforcement apprehended a 26-year-old man. He was subsequently taken to the Granville Police Station and charged with fifteen offenses. The charges include the supply of prohibited drugs in large commercial quantities and three counts relating to the possession of unauthorized pistols.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of five men, aged between 30 and 65, during the searches. These individuals were transported to Hurstville Police Station, where they faced multiple charges.
