Police officers have been forced to pull two men from a burning house in western Sydney this morning, with one accused of detaining the other.
Officers are investigating the alleged domestic violence incident on Wangara Street in Doonside.
Emergency services were called there about 4.25am over reports of people arguing.
On arrival, police found a vehicle out the front of the house which had been damaged, and the property well alight.
Four officers forced entry into the building and discovered two men, with one allegedly detaining the other.
Police were able to separate them and both were pulled from the burning home.
One of the men, aged 46, was arrested and taken to hospital where he is being treated for burns to his back. He remains there under police guard.
The second man, a 35 year old, suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital.
The four police officers were assessed at the scene by paramedics.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
A crime scene has been set up and investigations continue.
