Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued an extraordinary address denying he had involvement in Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

A right-wing fueled conspiracy theory has circulated on social media, alleging that Kirk was targeted due to his critical views on the Israeli administration.

Netanyahu described the baseless rumor as a ‘monstrous big lie’ as he likened it to Nazi propaganda in a video shared on X.

‘Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda minister, said that the bigger the lie, the faster it will spread,’ Netanyahu said.

‘Somebody has fabricated a monstrous big lie, that Israel had something to do with Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder.

‘This notion is absurd, baseless, and outrageous. Charlie Kirk was an extraordinary talent, a defender of freedom, America, and our shared Judeo-Christian values.

‘Charlie loved Israel, he loved the Jewish people, he told me so in a letter that he sent me just a few months ago.’

MAGA commentators claimed Kirk was growing increasingly critical of Netanyahu privately, while still publicly supporting Israel.

In a recent episode, Tucker Carlson stated that Kirk ‘was not a fan of Bibi Netanyahu,’ labeling him a ‘disruptive force’ and expressing his dismay over the developments in Gaza.

In a video posted on X, Netanyahu noted: ‘He [Kirk] urged me to communicate directly to the American public the critical importance of Israel to US national security.

‘He told me, ‘The Holy Land is so important to my life, it pains me to see support for Israel slip away’.

‘Now, if Charlie disagreed with a policy of mine – or a decision – here and there, not only did I not mind, I welcomed it.

‘This is the essence of Charlie. This is the essence of a free country. It’s exactly what Charlie stood for.

‘And I knew that his suggestions always came from the heart, from his love for Israel and from his love for the Jewish people.

‘A few weeks before his death, I spoke to Charlie. I invited him to visit Israel again. And sadly, that won’t happen.’

The Israeli PM went on to suggest Qatar was somehow involved in circulating the conspiracy theory.

He added: ‘Now, some are peddling these disgusting rumors, perhaps out of obsession, perhaps with Qatari funding.

‘What I do know is this – Charlie Kirk was a great man, and a great man deserves honor, not lies.

‘Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. May your memory be a blessing.’

The speculation about Israeli involvement was intensified by an early August meeting where Kirk met prominent Jewish billionaire Bill Ackman in the Hamptons.

Provocateur Candace Owens claimed on her podcast that Ackman confronted Kirk about his falling support for Israel.

She added that Kirk had ‘declined’ to visit Israel.

The Daily Mail interviewed several conservative influencers present at the event, who reported no noticeable tension between the two, stating that the meeting primarily addressed issues other than Israel.

Ackman denied Owens’s claims in a post on X: ‘For the record, at no time have I ever threatened Charlie Kirk, Turning Point or anyone associated with him.

‘I have never blackmailed anyone, let alone Charlie Kirk.

‘I have never offered Charlie or Turning Point any money in an attempt to influence Charlie’s opinion on anything.’

Netanyahu had already dismissed ‘insane’ and ‘absurd’ online rumors blaming Israel for the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk.

Those conspiracy theories started less than an hour after Kirk was killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.

The Israeli leader told Newsmax then: ‘They have no limits.

‘When you hate Jews, when you hate the Jewish state, you’re willing to say anything and promote all these absurd rumors.’

Netanyahu added: ‘We are fighting on the battlefield against the terrorists and winning, and he was fighting on the battlefield of ideas, and I think he was winning – that’s why they shot him.’
