Authorities in Kentucky are intensifying their efforts to locate a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for an entire month.
Wynter Wagoner was last seen on October 14 in the vicinity of Orlando, located in Rockcastle County. According to LEX, Wynter was attending an alternative school, having started there just two days before her disappearance. Her aunt shared that Wynter had been experiencing some challenges at school, particularly in the months leading up to her vanishing.
The connection between her switch to a new school and her disappearance remains unclear. Investigators have yet to determine if foul play is involved in her case.
Reports from WDKY indicate that Wynter had been living in foster care for approximately a year prior to going missing. On October 22, officials from Rockcastle County announced that the FBI has joined the search efforts.
Wynter is described as being 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 147 pounds. She has long brown hair, blue eyes, and distinctive piercings in her ears and right nostril.
