A lively 21-year-old woman from Venezuela, known for enjoying fun times with her friends and their children, was discovered deceased over the weekend in Pennsylvania. Her body was wrapped in a sheet and shower curtain, concealed inside a futon in a Philadelphia neighborhood, according to police reports.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name, but friends and former colleagues identified her as a Venezuelan woman who had been in the United States for only a year, as reported by local Fox affiliate WTFX. Police revealed she suffered multiple stab wounds to her neck and torso, with her body found in an apartment in the 4400 block of Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia’s Frankford area around 12:39 a.m. on Saturday.
“It’s very scary,” neighbor Shirese Robinson told WTFX. “Like something straight out of a movie, like something you wouldn’t hear close to home.”
Several friends, who wished to stay anonymous, shared their thoughts about the victim with the local Fox affiliate, describing the kind of person she was. According to WTFX, none of them could think of anyone who might have wished her harm.
“She was outgoing, funny. She loved to have fun,” one man said. “No negative vibes, all good positive energy. She loved doing TikToks with my kids.”

The pal and former co-worker told WTFX that her father and mother-in-law took the woman in “like a daughter” after she arrived from Venezuela. He said she was always hospitable and kind.
“Never needed nothing,” the man explained, noting how she was his wife’s “best friend” in town. “We always made sure she was cool,” the man said.
When police found the victim, officers were reportedly unable to find any weapons or evidence at the scene to help make an arrest. Officials told WTFX and other local news outlets that the woman was reported missing after friends were unable to contact her, with her last known appearance and contact being April 2, according to cops.
Police were still searching for the killer as of Monday morning and investigating the homicide.
“Hopefully whoever did it, put them away,” the victim’s friend and former co-worker said. “Let them suffer because at the end of the day the didn’t care about her.”
