A Tennessee woman is accused of taking the eviction process into her own hands when she wanted a family removed from her apartment.

Ervyana Davis, 23, is charged with two counts each of felony child abuse and misdemeanor, according to court records. She is currently held in the Davidson County Jail in Nashville with a bond set at $37,000 as of Sunday morning.

An arrest warrant obtained by local Fox affiliate WZTV reveals that Davis attempted to evict a family, including a 4-year-old child, from her apartment in the Nashville area, but they refused to vacate. Despite her attempts to involve law enforcement, officers directed her to pursue the civil eviction process, as the warrant reportedly indicated.

Rather than proceeding with the official process, Davis allegedly purchased bug foggers from a store. On Wednesday, she reportedly deployed between five and 16 of the foggers while the family was still inside.

Per the warrant, the child began coughing, had a hard time breathing and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. There were no reports of any other injuries.

The Environmental Protection Agency says no one should be inside a house or apartment after the fogger is released. People should stay out of the home for at least two to four hours after it is released. The EPA stated one bug fogger is typically sufficient for a 25-by-25 foot room.
