Just six days later, Emma, aware that her due date was fast approaching, arranged for her sister to drive her to her boyfriend and the father of her child, Antwon Butler’s residence in Gary, Indiana, on a Thursday evening. Assuring her sister that they would reunite the following day, she entered Butler’s home.

Despite her family anticipating her return on Friday, Emma Baum remained out of contact, raising concern among her loved ones. When the entire weekend passed without a word from her, Emma’s mother, Jamie Baum, decided to call Antwon Butler, seeking answers. Butler claimed that Emma had left his house with another girl in a car, a statement that only added to the family’s worries.

As Butler’s narrative shifted inconsistently, Emma’s family grew increasingly suspicious, convinced he wasn’t being forthright about her whereabouts. Consequently, they reported Emma as missing to the authorities, emphasizing that Antwon Butler was the last individual to have seen her.

Adding complexity to the situation was the revelation of Butler’s outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court, leading to his arrest on unrelated charges. Despite weeks of relentless searching, Emma Baum’s family remains in the dark about her fate, grappling with the distressing uncertainty of her disappearance.

Weeks of searching for Emma have led to no results, and the family of Emma Baum are at a loss for what to do next.
