Missing Mom Found Alive in Woods Has Vanished Again Weeks Later

A Florida woman who vanished for two days earlier this month has reportedly gone missing for a second time on Sunday

First Coast News has reported that Kayla Bailey, aged 34, was last observed at her home in Jacksonville. It was noted that she had been discharged from the hospital on Thursday, following a stay that came less than two weeks after she was discovered dehydrated in a wooded area.

Initially, Bailey disappeared on August 18 but was located in the woods two days after her disappearance. On the day she was found, her husband faced arrest for breaching a protective order that she had placed against him. The police clarified that his arrest was not linked to her disappearance.

Bailey’s brother shared with First Coast News that on the day she went missing, she had decided against going to the grocery store. As per reports, the police conducted searches across local hospitals but did not find any trace of Bailey.

As reported by First Coast News, Bailey was last spotted wearing a black romper and brown sandals. If anyone has information about her location, they are urged to contact the Jacksonville police at 904-630-0500.
