According to a press release from the Sartell Police Department, officers responded to a shooting early Sunday morning. The unnamed victim reported noticing a driver, later identified as Mohr, following him aggressively. Mohr allegedly drove alongside the victim and opened fire, police said.

Despite the victim’s attempts to evade Mohr by exiting the highway, Mohr reportedly continued to pursue him.
Police stated that Mohr tailgated the victim’s truck before pulling alongside it and allegedly firing multiple shots. One of these shots struck the victim in the leg. “Initially, the victim realized he was under fire when his windshield shattered,” Chief Silgjord explained to KSTP.
The victim is currently receiving treatment in the hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries. Authorities believe the shooting was motivated by tensions involving a mutual friend, though they have not provided additional details.
The victim is still being treated in the hospital for his injury and is expected to recover. Police said they believed the victim was targeted “due to tensions involving a mutual friend,” but did not provide further details.
