In a recent development, Savannah Guthrie, alongside her siblings, released a second video that reportedly references a new note concerning their missing mother, which surfaced on Friday.
This video, featuring Guthrie and her siblings, emerged just a day after a note was sent to Tucson, Arizona’s KOLD television station. According to three officials familiar with the investigation, authorities are probing whether this note originated from the same source as the initial one and if it was dispatched by someone with ties to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
Sources indicate that the Guthrie family is fully informed about the ongoing investigation into the notes and the wider case. However, the details of the second note remain undisclosed to the public.
In the video posted on Instagram on Saturday, Savannah Guthrie pleaded, “We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”
Nancy Guthrie, aged 84, was reported missing from her Tucson residence last Sunday morning after failing to attend church. Authorities from Pima County believe her last sighting occurred the previous night, on Saturday, January 31.
As of Monday, no suspects have been identified in what is being treated as a suspected abduction of Nancy Guthrie.
