Twelve days following Rebecca Haro’s report of her son’s kidnapping, where she alleged being knocked unconscious in a parking lot while changing her 15-month-old’s diaper, Emmanuel Haro’s parents now face murder charges.

Alongside the murder charges, they are accused of giving a false police report. Despite this, during a jailhouse interview, Rebecca continues to assert her claim that she was attacked and her 7-month-old son, Emmanuel, was kidnapped.

Jake Haro’s attorney, Vincent Hughes, expresses confusion over claims that his client has ceased cooperating with detectives, stating that Jake Haro is still actively engaging with investigators.

Hughes also says Jake Haro wants to cooperate with investigators.

Emmanuel Haro’s father was taken from jail in his orange suit to a secluded area in Moreno Valley, where he was observed in a field with law enforcement officers.

The department implies that while Jake Haro was at the scene, he was not helping in the search.

Rebecca Haro mentioned to a Southern California newsgroup reporter that while she knew about Jake’s past child cruelty case, he has always treated her and their children well, describing him as “a good dad.”

She also tells the newsgroup they married in 2021.

Prosecutors in Riverside County are requesting Rebecca and Jake Haro be held on a $1 million dollar bond.
