Authorities have confirmed the arrest of an individual under an outstanding warrant, leading to his transfer to the Surry Hills Police Station.
The suspect faced charges for offensive behavior in a public area, along with allegations of stalking and intimidation intended to instill fear or cause physical harm.
Initially denied bail, he was subsequently granted conditional bail following a court appearance yesterday.
Zayne Jason William McMillan received a 12-month jail sentence, with a non-parole period of nine months, for simulating a shooting and hurling verbal abuse.
During the incident, McMillan was heard shouting offensive remarks, including, “F*** the Jews,” while on a footbridge.
McMillan is expected to be eligible for parole this coming November.
