In a deeply unsettling incident, a 41-year-old woman from Wisconsin is facing accusations of murdering her 14-year-old daughter. The woman allegedly made a lengthy non-emergency call to dispatchers, claiming she took this drastic action to shield her child from Elon Musk.
The incident unfolded on March 20th when Tyiece Oninski contacted the Rock County Communications Center, according to reports by WMTV. During a call that spanned nearly 15 minutes, Oninski confessed to having killed her daughter, Kuren Rein, the previous night, and mentioned her own suicide attempt.
In her statement, Oninski claimed she “murdered [her daughter] to protect her from somebody else, period.” She specifically cited her desire to protect Kuren from the influential tech magnate, Elon Musk, whom she described as a “billionaire tech bro and ketamine addict,” according to the criminal complaint.
Responding swiftly to the distressing call, deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene shortly before 8 a.m. Tragically, they discovered the lifeless body of the teenage girl, as reported by CrimeOnline. Subsequently, Oninski was charged with first-degree murder.
The criminal complaint details a chilling moment during the call when Oninski requested both an ambulance and a hearse. When asked if the ambulance was for her daughter, she chillingly responded, “She’s dead, honey. She needs a hearse.”
Upon arrival, deputies found Oninski with severe self-inflicted injuries, including a deep cut on her neck, wounds on her wrists, and what appeared to be a stab wound to her cheek. Meanwhile, young Kuren Rein was discovered with multiple stab wounds, and authorities found both a knife and a sheath at the scene.
Oninski was taken to a hospital and tested positive for benzoiazepines, amphetamines, and THC.
Her bond was set at $1 million on Monday, and her next court date is April 14.
