On Wednesday, FBI agents discovered a black glove while conducting a search along a roadside near the Arizona residence of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie.
The New York Post reported that the glove resembles the type seen on an armed intruder captured in security footage and photographs released by the FBI on Tuesday.
The glove was found in some bushes approximately 1.5 miles from Guthrie’s home in the Catalina Foothills. Her last known appearance was on January 31, after having dinner with her family.
This discovery was made during what the FBI described as an “extensive” search operation across several roadways in the Catalina Foothills area, as earlier covered by CrimeOnline.
Guthrie, who is the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, was reported missing by her family around noon on February 1 after she failed to attend church.
Subsequent investigations revealed traces of her blood on the front porch. Officials noted that her doorbell camera was disconnected at approximately 1:47 a.m. on February 1, and her pacemaker registered activity on her phone at 2 a.m.
At around 2:12 a.m., security camera software detected movement, Nanos said, although he could not confirm where the movement came from.

“I think the guy is probably between 5 feet, 11, and 6 foot, 2,” cybersecurity and digital forensics expert, Lee Neubecker, told Nancy Grace. “But you can also see his shoes as he steps on those bricks…and also the first step it holds.”
“If you knew the exact size of that brick, you could probably tell what his shoe size is.”

The FBI is currently offering a $50,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of anyone associated with Nancy Guthrie’s abduction.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). Tipsters can also contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department tip line at 520-351-4900.
