Two nurses in the vicinity witnessed the scene, confirming that Muscoreil confronted the patient and began shouting in her face. The intensity of his yelling was such that it was audible from the hallway, as reported by one nurse.
When questioned by police, the nurses substantiated the patient’s account of Muscoreil’s alleged aggressive conduct. One nurse recounted physically intervening by pushing the doctor away from the patient, who was in bed.
