Katricia Humphrey, 47, found herself in police custody on Tuesday following an attempted robbery at a Sedano’s supermarket located in Sweetwater. According to authorities, Humphrey reportedly brandished a nail clipper while threatening the 70-year-old clerk with the chilling words, “You will die.” This incident unfolded as Humphrey attempted to take a box of cigarettes, claiming she would pay for it later, as detailed in a criminal complaint reviewed by Law&Crime.
When the store clerk denied Humphrey’s request, tensions escalated. Humphrey allegedly became “irate,” prompting the clerk to ask her to leave the premises.
