Authorities in California are actively searching for a 38-year-old woman who has been missing since late November. The Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers have reported that Christina Lynn Downer was last seen in the bustling Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, and her family has been unable to reach her since.
According to Patch, Downer last communicated via text with a friend on December 10. Concerned for her safety, her family is urging the public for assistance. “My sister has been missing and we are worried that she isn’t safe,” reads a post from her family. While she is known as Christina Downer, she might also use her maiden name, Christina Fowlie.
Christina Downer is described as being 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing between 115 to 120 pounds. She has distinctive black hair and brown eyes, which may help in identifying her.
Her brother, “Saturday Night Live” writer Jimmy Fowlie, wrote an Instagram post asking for the public to be on the lookout.
If anyone has information regarding Downer’s whereabouts, they are encouraged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. For tips during weekends or outside regular business hours, the number to call is 1-877-527-3247.
