Tepe Murders: Accused Stone-faced Killer Surgeon Tormented Former Wife Before Shootings

When a friend finally arrived at the Tepe residence, they found the couple’s infant son, Beckham, confined in his crib, hungry and crying for hours on end. It was a distressing scene, yet family members believe that neither 17-month-old Beckham nor his older sister, Emilia, witnessed the tragic murder of their parents, as both children were in their own private bedrooms during the incident.

Meanwhile, the accused, Michael McKee, opted to waive extradition, resulting in a 10-day process for his transfer back to Ohio. Upon arrival in Columbus, McKee was booked into the newly established James A. Karnes Corrections Center, a facility praised for incorporating the best practices from modern jail designs across the nation.

This state-of-the-art center underscores the Division of Corrections’ dedication to reducing recidivism and enhancing public safety through innovative reentry programs. Such initiatives aim to prepare inmates for a successful transition back into society.

During his arraignment, McKee entered a plea of not guilty and chose not to request bond, which means he will remain at the Karnes Corrections Center until either his attorney petitions for bail or the case proceeds to trial.

In the midst of this ongoing case, Nancy Grace will be joined by experts to further discuss the implications and developments surrounding this tragic event.
