Authorities in Sydney’s western suburbs are on the lookout for a suspect linked to a serious incident involving a break-in and assault at an apartment. A woman in Blacktown reported being attacked while she was asleep early Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when the intruder, described as a man in his 20s, allegedly entered the bedroom and assaulted the resident, a woman in her 30s, as she slept.
Following the report, the police have established a crime scene and are actively searching for the suspect. He is described as having a slim build, standing approximately 160 cm tall, with short hair.
In the course of their investigation, authorities have uncovered a series of related incidents dating back to December of the previous year. These include the theft of underwear from a clothesline and reports of a man seen peering through windows in the neighborhood.
