5 Children Kept Tied in Cages Until 1 Escapes, Found By Neighbor

A tip from an unidentified caller led authorities to a residence in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Wednesday afternoon, where they discovered a woman’s body discarded in the trash.

Deputies from Logan County arrived at the location shortly after 2 p.m. and engaged with two teenagers. They quickly realized that the homeowner was unaccounted for, reported the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Upon searching the premises, deputies located the deceased woman showing “injuries consistent with homicide.”

“Following the gathered evidence and information, one of the teenagers was taken into custody and will be sent to a juvenile detention center,” stated the OSBI.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office sought assistance from the state bureau, which plans to submit their findings to the District 9 District Attorney’s Office for further evaluation.

Additional details have not been disclosed at this time.
