On the evening of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m., emergency services responded to an incident at the interchange on North Parade in Mount Druitt.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered two 19-year-old men who had sustained stab wounds.
Tragically, one of the men, later identified as Zac McRae, had been stabbed in the chest and could not be revived.
The second victim, who suffered a stab wound to his arm, was transported to the hospital in stable condition and has since been discharged.
Following a thorough investigation, a 19-year-old woman was apprehended in December in relation to the stabbing. Her case is currently progressing through the legal system.
Following inquiries, a 19-year-old woman was arrested in December in connection with the stabbing, and she remains before the courts.
More recently, at about 10.20am on January 7, police arrested a 19-year-old man in Silverwater.
He was charged with multiple offences, including murder and wounding with intent to murder.
He was refused bail and will appeal in court today.
Police have also released CCTV of three men they believe can assist the investigation.
The trio, believed to be aged in their 20s, are seen walking along a street in Mount Druitt.
They wear black hoodies and track pants. Two wear black shoes and one wears white shoes.
