News footage of the home in Houston, Texas where three teenage sisters allegedly tried to kill their mother (KRIV).
A mother in Texas reportedly faced a frightening scenario when her teenage daughters allegedly chased her into the street after she revoked their internet access — an incident that has led all three daughters to face aggravated assault charges.
According to a social media update by Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez on March 24, the three girls, aged 14, 15, and 16, were detained after purportedly plotting to harm their mother. Gonzalez explained that the motive behind the scheme was the mother’s decision to “turn off the Wi-Fi.” The teenagers allegedly went so far as to throw a brick at their mother and pursue her with kitchen knives.
Officials reported that the teenagers allegedly “armed themselves with kitchen knives” and chased their mother throughout the house and onto the street in an attempt to harm her. Gonzalez also noted that a brick struck the mother and that the grandmother at the scene was “knocked over” while attempting to shield her. Fortunately, neither woman sustained significant injuries.

KRIV, a local Fox affiliate, reported that the household apparently had a history of run-ins with the law. A neighbor who spoke on camera but chose to remain anonymous told the station, “They’re known for that in this neighborhood. There’s always cops around that house.”
She added, “I think that’s so crazy. I mean it just tells how unstable that family is, and it’s very sad for them.”
All three girls were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They are currently in custody at Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
