A man from Texas faces charges after allegedly breaking into his pregnant ex-girlfriend’s home and launching a violent attack as she returned. The suspect, Christopher Mike, 32, is accused of shooting her in the neck and face and also injuring her mother, while the ex-girlfriend’s three children witnessed the ordeal, according to police reports.

On November 19, Mike reportedly entered Sylvia Scott’s Fort Worth residence through the back door and lay in wait until she and her mother, Allura Stewart, got home. The pair shared their harrowing experience with local Fox affiliate KDFW, providing details of the attack.

“The bullet hit my neck and exited through my face,” Scott recounted, describing the moment Mike allegedly shot her as she stepped inside through the garage entrance.

Stewart remembered the attack vividly, saying, “He appeared suddenly, shot her, and then turned to shoot me as well. He then ran further into the house, and I feared he might harm the children.”

Scott stated that their relationship ended in November and described Mike as having been violent during their time together. He is also the father of her unborn child.

Despite being shot, Stewart managed to reach her car and call 911. Thankfully, Scott’s baby was unharmed, according to KDFW. Although the children were not directly attacked, the traumatic event has left them with recurring nightmares.

“There were a number of events that happened before this one,” Scott told the station.

Mike was allegedly living with Scott before their relationship ended. She believes he was tracking her location using an Apple iPad that he left with her.

“I don’t feel at ease,” Scott said.

Online records show that Mike is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and kidnapping in connection with the alleged incident. He was being held without bond over the weekend and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 5, 2026.
