In Texas, a couple has admitted guilt two years after being accused of forcibly tattooing the woman’s children, aged 5 and 9, after restraining and gagging them.
The children’s biological father noticed the tattoos and alerted Child Protective Services. Following this, Megan and Gunnar Farr attempted to scrub the tattoos off the children’s skin using lemon juice, as per the arrest affidavit reported by KTRE.
Previously, the station noted that the children revealed they were tied up with ropes, blindfolded, and gagged during the tattooing process. Authorities stated that the Farrs’ friends were present in the house during the incident.
Megan Farr told the children’s father about the tattoos and then “laughed about it and drove away.” Gunnar Farr told the father they used a staple to create the tattoos.
Gunnar Farr, 25, pleaded guilty on March 20 to unlawful restraint and bodily injury to a child charges, KTRE said. He was sentenced to two years in prison on the restraint charge and five years for each of two bodily injury charges, to be served concurrently. Megan Farr, 29, pleaded guilty to the same charges on Thursday and will be sentenced in 45 days.
