Reports suggest that Yisra El Moubayed and her mother visited Hair in the Square at Bankstown Central around 3 PM on Sunday.
The TikTok influencer, boasting over 500,000 followers, requested a hair color treatment but was informed by the staff that they couldn’t accommodate her request at that time.
Subsequent video footage allegedly captures the 23-year-old in a heated confrontation, involving shouting, hair-pulling, and even hurling a potted plant.
El Moubayed later posted a TikTok video, which has since been removed, claiming that her actions were in self-defense.
Nonetheless, police apprehended her the following morning, charging her with affray.
During her court appearance, El Moubayed was visibly emotional as her attorney detailed her challenging past and shared that she is currently training for a career in the mining industry.
Outside court, El Moubayed said she had no comment on the case.
