Authorities have identified the four individuals found deceased in northwestern Tennessee on Tuesday as family members of the infant left in a stranger’s front yard in nearby Dyer County.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation revealed the victims of the homicide as Braydon Williams, aged 15, James Matthew Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, and Cortney Rose, 38, as reported by KTVS. Their remains were discovered along Carrington Road in Tiptonville.
Investigators noted that they were all connected to the 7-month-old girl who was left in a car seat in a front yard in Tigrett earlier the same day. Social media reveals that Wilson and Adrianna Williams are the parents of the infant, Rose is Williams’ mother, and the teenager is Williams’ brother, based on CrimeOnline’s previous reports.
The baby was left in a car seat shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Dyer County deputies soon identified the child and announced their search for the parents and Rose. The bodies were discovered a few hours later. Initially, officials did not explicitly link the two situations, though both were mentioned in the same Facebook post by Dyer County, which was then shared by Lake County.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of death for the four individuals. District Attorney Danny Goodman Jr. informed WREG that investigators do not suspect the four were specifically targeted, indicating it was not a random act of violence.
The TBI is now heading the investigation.
