In a tragic turn of events, authorities confirmed on Friday that a 4-year-old boy, who went missing while visiting his father in Alabama, was found deceased.
The body of Johnathan Boley was located approximately two miles from his father’s residence in Walker County. Boley had disappeared alongside his dog, which was later discovered alive near the boy’s remains, as reported by WBRC.
As previously highlighted by Crime Online, it was Boley’s 6-year-old brother who last witnessed him venturing beneath a fence into the woods with their pet dog.
In the wake of Boley’s disappearance, his father faced arrest due to the presence of explosive materials in and around his property. The FBI intervened after remnants of earlier detonations were found in the wooded area where Boley had gone missing.
Sheriff Nick Smith revealed that Jameson Boley, aged 40, is facing charges related to the illegal production of a destructive device or a bacteriological or biological weapon. Smith also noted that the young boy and his brother normally reside with their mother in Florida but were visiting their father for a five-day stay, scheduled to return to their mother on Thursday.
