A man from Minnesota has been accused of killing his 67-year-old mother by beating her to death. Following this, police report that he attacked another woman the next day, sexually assaulting her while she prepared dinner for her child.
In an effort to defend herself, the victim reportedly struck Aaron Schlossin, 36, from Prior Lake, with a piece of frozen meat she had in her hands during the incident, according to court records acquired by local ABC station KSTP. According to police, Schlossin allegedly broke in through a sliding glass door, forcing the woman against her refrigerator and assaulting her.
For that incident, Schlossin faces one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of first-degree burglary, according to online records.
His mother’s alleged slaying, meanwhile, landed Schlossin a count of second-degree murder after cops found her body Sunday.

Diana Kaiser, who was living with her Schlossin, was found dead inside the home that they shared in the 4500 block of Colorado Street in Prior Lake, a city around 25 miles southwest of Minneapolis, according to police. A neighbor called the cops and asked for a welfare check on Kaiser, noting how she regularly walks her dog and brings the garbage cans in herself, but hadn’t done so since the previous Thursday.
When officers arrived, they were able to see a body sticking out from under a pile of blankets through one of the windows; dried blood was also observed in the bedroom where Kaiser was located, according to KSTP. The officers entered the residence and found a pair of jeans, which allegedly contained Schlossin’s wallet and ID, covered in blood. Schlossin was nowhere to be found.
As cops investigated Kaiser’s death, a neighbor reportedly told them they could hear a man and woman screaming from inside the home on Thursday night. “Sounded like someone was being murdered,” the neighbor allegedly said, per court documents.
The witness told cops that Schlossin was known to act “off.”
One neighbor said they allegedly saw him doing a “whippit” — inhaling nitrous oxide from a canister — on Thursday night before asking them for a cigarette. Court documents state that Schlossin was “very high and out of it,” according to the witness.
On Thursday, Schlossin allegedly set upon the mother in Burnsville after she spotted him outside her apartment building staring at her. She told police that the way Schlossin was staring at her made her feel uneasy, so she went back inside to start cooking. That’s when the attack allegedly happened.
Schlossin is currently being held in the Dakota County jail, records show.
