TEEN GIRL CHEERLEADER DEAD ON CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIP, FBI JOINS INVESTIGATION

Anna Kepner, at the tender age of 18, was embarking on her senior year at Temple Christian School with dreams and excitement for what lay ahead. Known for her vibrant spirit, Anna expressed her personality by painting her parking spot in homage to her favorite film, “Clueless,” and took great joy in returning to the field to cheer on the Lions.

An enthusiast of the water, Anna possessed both a boating license and scuba certification. Her creativity shone through in the lively TikTok videos she crafted with her friends and brother, capturing the essence of her joyful life.

With ambitions stretching beyond high school, Anna was in the process of exploring a future with the military. She had engaged in discussions with recruiters and was eagerly awaiting the results of her ASVAB testing, which would guide her in selecting the most suitable career path in the armed forces.

Tragically, Anna’s promising journey was cut short. During a recent western Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Horizon, the young cheerleader was found deceased. The cruise, which concluded in Miami on Saturday, November 8, 2025, has since become the focus of an FBI investigation.

Carnival has pledged full cooperation with the ongoing investigation. While the cause of her untimely death remains undisclosed, an autopsy is pending to provide further insights.

In remembrance of her vibrant life, a Celebration of Life for Anna Kepner is scheduled for November 20. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, leaving behind cherished memories and unfulfilled dreams.
