Three charged with murder after Melbourne teen, 16, killed in drive-by shooting
Three men have been charged with murder weeks after a teenage boy was killed in a drive-by shooting near a Melbournepolice station.

In a tragic incident just outside the Fitzroy Police Station, which was not operational at the time, a drive-by shooting occurred, leaving a community shaken and mourning.

A lone police officer stationed nearby responded swiftly upon hearing what sounded like one or two gunshots piercing the quiet. Arriving at the scene, the officer discovered a man, identified as Good, with a devastating gunshot wound to the head.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services to save him, Good succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, marking a grim turn of events in the heart of the community.

The investigation took a significant step forward when authorities detained a 21-year-old man from Heidelberg at Melbourne Airport in the early hours of the morning. Following an extensive interview, the suspect was formally charged with one count of murder, bringing a crucial development to the case.

He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.

Two other men, a 19-year-old from Heidelberg West and a 20-year-old from Bundoora were charged with murder on January 11.

Both men were remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on June 15.

Two men were critically injured after a group of about seven men armed with machetes and knives attacked them outside a restaurant about 11.45pm.

A 20-year-old Heidelberg West man and an 18-year-old NSW man were seriously injured and taken to hospital.
