In the early hours of Saturday, November 15, around 2:20 am, law enforcement officers responded to an incident at a residence on MacKellar Street, located in Casula.
Upon arrival, police discovered that over 50 bullets had been discharged into the house, indicating a deliberate assault. Fortunately, no one was inside at the time, and there were no injuries reported.
Authorities now suspect that a pair of men drove to the Casula property in a black Audi S5 sedan with stolen plates. The vehicle, they believe, was used to carry out the attack.
It is alleged that one man exited the car and unleashed at least 52 shots at the residence using a semi-automatic firearm. Additionally, he reportedly left behind a menacing note scrawled on a piece of cardboard.
By Tuesday, November 18, around 5:20 pm, the Audi was located abandoned on Claremont Circuit in Wattle Grove, offering a critical lead in the ongoing investigation.

On Thursday, November 27, police executed a high-risk search warrant at a home on Phillip Street in Waterloo.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with moving the car used in the shooting.
He has been refused bail and will next appear in court on January 21.
Following further inquiries, on Monday this week, detectives arrested a 20-year-old man at Parramatta Police Station.
He was charged with 18 offences and police will allege he was the gunman who fired at the house.
