The Connecticut River Valley serial killer is suspected of committing a series of heinous murders between 1978 and 1988 in the forested area straddling the New Hampshire and Vermont border.

The killer targeted at least seven women, many of whom were young and found stabbed to death in remote areas.

In this installment of Zone 7, Crime Scene Investigator Sheryl McCollum has a conversation with Jane Boroski, the sole known survivor of the Connecticut River Valley serial killer. Jane shares her harrowing experience of being attacked while seven months pregnant, enduring 27 stab wounds, and the arduous journey toward recovery following that horrific night.

Amanda and Drew Bedard, Jane’s staunchest supporters and partners on the Invisible Tears podcast, also participate in the discussion. Together, they contemplate the impact of trauma, PTSD, and survivor’s guilt on Jane’s existence and how advocacy provided her with a sense of purpose.
