Authorities in Florida are actively searching for a 13-year-old girl, Kaidyn Chevalie, from Prairieville, who disappeared over the weekend.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that Kaidyn left her residence on Perkins Road around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday and has not been seen since.
A Level II endangered child/missing child advisory was released by the Louisiana State Police at 12:59 p.m. on Tuesday.
Kaidyn is identified as a Black female, standing at 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 113 pounds. When last seen, she was dressed in blue jean shorts, a white Hello Kitty T-shirt, without shoes, and wearing a pink hair bonnet.
Anyone who may have information about her location is encouraged to reach out to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 621-4346 or dial 911.
A Level II advisory is issued when there is concern for a child’s safety, but the situation does not fulfill the criteria necessary for an AMBER Alert.
