BOLO: Missing Child Alert Issued for Non-Verbal Autistic Florida Boy, 13

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child Alert for a 13-year-old boy with autism who has gone missing.

Na’Sean Kirkland was reportedly last seen at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, leaving his home in Maitland with his brother, according to News Channel 8. However, his brother returned without Na’Sean and was unable to provide details on his whereabouts.

Family members have informed authorities that Na’Sean, who is non-verbal, has a particular affinity for water and left the house without wearing shoes.

Na’Sean is described as a Black male, standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 95 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing gray shorts and a black shirt with green writing.

The Maitland Police Department urges anyone with information about Na’Sean’s whereabouts to contact them at (407) 539-6262 or to call 911 immediately.
