MISSING: ‘Heightened Concern’ for Well-Known Bakery Employee Who Abruptly Left Work

Authorities in Massachusetts are actively searching for a woman who disappeared last Friday.

According to Worcester police, Joanna Brown, aged 30, informed her colleagues at Bean Counter Bakery Cafe that she needed to leave due to a personal issue. Since then, she has neither returned to her job nor communicated with anyone, which is unusual behavior, as reported by The Worcester Guard.

The Telegram & Gazette highlighted that Brown has been an employee at the bakery for the past eight years. Police have expressed significant concern for her well-being but have not disclosed further specifics.

It is believed that Brown could be in the Holyoke or Springfield regions and might be driving a 2025 gray Mitsubishi Outlander with the Massachusetts license plate number 5GPN93. She is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with hazel eyes.

Anyone who might have information about Brown’s location is urged to contact Worcester police at 508-799-8606.
