Officials looking for missing Birmingham University student Joseph Debitz reported today that a man’s body has been discovered.
After being split from friends in the early hours of Sunday, March 27, 2022, the 21-year-old from Selly Oak was reported missing.
Joseph’s relatives and acquaintances have been alerted while police await official identification, according to authorities.
His death was not being investigated as suspicious, according to West Midlands Police.
The University of Birmingham has published an official obituary for graduate student Joseph Derbisz. They expressed their sadness with the news, writing that Joseph’s death had left them “devastated.”

They claimed to be doing everything they can to assist Joseph’s friends and family, as well as the greater student and staff community.
The Warwickshire Rugby student was last seen around 3.30 a.m. on Sunday at the University of Birmingham Students’ Association nightclub Fab N Fresh.

He is a part-time math tutor and is pursuing mechanical engineering.
Because of his nature, he was adored by his professors, elders, and peers at his school. After being split from pals on a night out, he was reported missing on Sunday.
He stood 5 feet 9 inches tall and was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and trousers.
