Vail’s escape partner Morgan was also sentenced to the same.
In the two’s new sentences, their crimes of escaping Elmira Prison also doubled up their serving time.

Timothy Vail was a country guy until he moved to the city to study fine arts.
He was born in Sacramento in 1972 and was very close to his father.
His father was a mechanic who died due to natural causes when he was only ten years old.
Thus, Vail and his mother moved to the countryside only to return to the city for higher studies.
After finishing his studies, Vail wanted to go back to the countryside.
During his stay in the city, he randomly went inside an office block and snooped around the papers.
When the secretary arrived, Vail raped her and later murdered her. On top of that, the secretary was pregnant.
Vail was sentenced to 30 years in prison at Elmira from where she escaped after living there for 15 years.
His escape story has been reacted by the series “Breakout.” Meanwhile, any video of the incident is not on display.
Likewise, his story never fails to amuse the viewers due to his creativity in the escape plan and his newfound friendship with Timothy.
After the two had escaped, Vail was injured but Timothy did not leave his side and the two were again caught later.
