GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Amber Dozier, 32, was taken into custody yesterday on a second-degree murder warrant from Orange County, Florida, as she attempted to board a bus leaving Gainesville.

On the evening of Saturday, August 16, around 5:50 p.m., the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit, alongside their K9 unit, responded to the vicinity of the Rosa Parks Transfer Station positioned at 700 SE 3rd Street, Gainesville. They aimed to locate Amber Dozier, 32, who had an outstanding second-degree murder warrant issued by Orange County, Florida.

Investigators observed Dozier attempting to depart by bus. They subsequently boarded the vehicle and arrested her without any complications.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the warrant was linked to the shooting death of Javore Tyleek Bentley on August 2nd in their jurisdiction.
