A 47-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in a vacation rental property in southwestern Utah on Sunday.
Washington City Police stated that they were searching for “two persons of interest” who left the scene using the victim’s rental car. The authorities did not disclose the identities of either the victim or the “persons of interest,” emphasizing that these individuals “are not considered a danger to the public.”
Additionally, the police did not reveal what circumstances took them to the victim’s vacation rental. They mentioned that the woman had traveled to Washington from California three days prior to the discovery of her body.
The vcitim “was stabbed multiple times in the upper body,” police said. The Office of the Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy.
Police said they anticipated releasing more information on Tuesday.
