Dramatic moment jogger jumps off a bridge to save a drowning dog

Dramatic video shows a Miami man jumping into the ocean in order to save an abandoned dog drowning in the choppy waters.

Samuel Reyes, 26 was running across the Brickell Key Bridge in the city’s downtown on Wednesday morning when he noticed the canine struggling to stay afloat.

Reyes’ jogging companion filmed footage of the remarkable rescue, which begins with the accidental hero stripping off his shirt and climbing across the bridge’s railing in order to save the pup.

Onlookers on nearby docks can be seen watching on as Reyes then jumps off the bridge and into the water.
