Abbie Chatfield stepped into the spotlight for the first time since becoming embroiled in her second defamation lawsuit this year.

Recently, it came to light that the TV star, who was recently ordered to pay $79,000 to Heath Kelley for online defamation, is now facing a new defamation suit filed by former Married At First Sight contestant Harrison Boon.

The 30-year-old made her appearance at the Golden Bachelor Australia premiere in Sydney on Monday, accompanied by her boyfriend Adam Hyde and her mother, Laura Neal.

Laura is participating in the inaugural season of the Australian dating show, aiming to capture the affections of Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden.

For the event, Abbie chose a sleek, all-black outfit, featuring a high-neck dress that accentuated her waist and included a thigh-high slit to showcase her toned legs.

She completed her sophisticated look with strappy black heels and oversized hoop earrings.

She kept it au natural with her makeup and threw her brunette curls into an up-do, letting two strands fall across her cheeks. 

As for her mum, Laura wore a stunning baby blue gown that boasted an abstract one-shouldered design and hugged her curves, falling dramatically to the floor. 

Her blonde locks cascaded across her shoulders as she opted for a bright pink lip. 

Abbie beamed with pride as she stood alongside her mum on the red carpet. 

The pair were later joined by Adam – better known as Keli Holiday – who rolled up in rockstar attire, exposing his chest in a white singlet which he paired with a black suit and chunky boots. 

Adam and Abbie then packed on the PDA for the cameras, with the former FBoy Island host sweetly placing her hand on his chin as he put his arm around her. 

Also in attendance at the swanky do was Samantha Armytage, who will be hosting the inaugural Golden Bachelor season on Channel Nine.

Samantha was the picture of elegance as she turned heads in a sleeveless champagne-coloured dress, showing off her slender figure and bronzed skin.

He was joined by his fellow cast-members, who all looked radiant as they attended the premiere for the upcoming show. 

Bianca Dye, who previously revealed that ‘dumpster fire’ dating apps led her to sign on to The Golden Bachelor at the age of 51, stole the show in a sparkling floor-length frock, complete with a corseted bodice, intricate beading and a cape which fell across her shoulders. 

The radio star slicked back her hair in a ponytail and wore dramatic diamond earrings as she posed for a selfie with her iPhone, which had a ring light accessory attached. 

Catherine Kirwan put on a busty display in a bejewelled corset, which she paired with a skin-tight skirt and sky-high heels, which showed off her long trim pins. 

Opting for a bronzed makeup look and pink cheeks, she wore her beach wave curls across her shoulders as she placed her hands on her hips.

She accessorised the head-turning ensemble with a silver Coach purse and bright red heels, while opting for a natural makeup look with a glossy dark lip.

The Golden Bachelor has been a smash hit in the US, and fans have been clamouring for an Australian edition since its premiere.

However, last month, host Samantha was forced to address rumours that she had got cosy with Bear after the pair’s red carpet debut at the Logies sparked whispers of an off-screen romance.

Speaking on Nova’s Chrissie Swan Show, the Sunrise alum and new host of Channel Nine’s dating experiment laughed off suggestions she and the silver fox had become more than colleagues.

‘Well, you can’t host the show and then steal the Golden Bachelor. Hello. That wouldn’t be much fun would it?’ Sam quipped when asked if she’d ever considered taking advantage of her ‘staff discount.’
