It comes after the actor and his wife Katy recently revealed they had fulfilled a ‘life long dream’ of buying their ‘home from home’ in Sicily.
The couple, own and run a craft beer and artisan gin bar called Dexter and Jones in their town of Knutsford – where they live with their two dogs.
Recently, Katy shared that the couple, who frequently vacation in Sicily, were considering making the Mediterranean island more integral to their lives. She hinted at a potential business opportunity there.
In June, the couple made their dream a reality as they announced they had officially bought a holiday home there.
The former Coronation Street actor and GMB host were all smiles as they basked in the sun and enjoyed an evening out on the island after finalizing ownership of their new property.
Announcing the news, Katy, who wed Adam in 2014, wrote: ‘Arghhhh! What the hell just happened. We are giddy with excitement!
‘After a ceremony reminiscent of a wedding register signing, we are thrilled to own a small piece of paradise on the island we now call the Happy Place: Ortigia!

He added, ‘After years of obsessively watching @aplaceinthesunofficial, I never imagined I’d be this fortunate. We might be crazy as we’ve remortgaged our house to make this happen!
‘But we decided that life’s too short. Being able to save up date nights and escape here when life allows, rather than always planning ahead, seemed like the ultimate dream… and worth owning just one sofa at home where the bulldogs reign supreme.’
‘We will give you all a proper tour very soon but for now we are off to go and shop for paint and hoovers in the sunshine!! How crazy is that?!!! Oh yeah and apparently we are now PART ORTIGIAN!! I may burst.’
Adam was well and truly in a party mood as he downed a bottle of champagne, before work started on the home the following day.
