Herbert Wigwe

Davido, a well-known Nigerian artist, expressed his sympathies and pays his last respect to the late Herbert Wigwe, the beloved CEO of Access Bank.

Herbert, his wife and son were killed in a helicopter crash in California near the Nevada border on Saturday, February 10, according to reports.

The Federal Aviation Administration said that the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter crashed in Nipton, California, approximately 10 p.m. local time.

Nipton is an unincorporated settlement located in eastern San Bernardino County, about 60 miles south of Las Vegas.

His untimely death has left a vacuum in the hearts of many, especially Davido, who recognises Wigwe’s exceptional leadership and commitment to greatness.

The ‘Unavailable’ crooner took to social media to express his sadness over the loss of Herbert Wigwe as he penned his condolences prayers.

Via his timeline, he wrote, “I pray for strength and comfort for the Wigwe family”.
