As one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses, it must be disappointing to wear bland clothes to work everyday.
As Skyler from Breaking Bad, Anna Gunn has typically embraced a more understated look. However, on Sunday evening at the 65th Emmy Awards, she stepped out of this usual style and dazzled in a stunning gown on the red carpet.
Wearing a floor-length Romona Keveza dress, the 45-year-old looked light-years apart from her frumpy-dressing alter-ego.

Anna Gunn, 45, appeared worlds apart from her Breaking Bad persona, gracing the Emmys red carpet in a glamorous Romona Keveza dress.

Mom jeans alert! Anna professed that she wished her character Skyler had used her ill-gotten gains just once to by a glamourous dress
Anna looked elegant and polished in the pale pink ensemble, which was embellished with a black lace bodice.
Speaking with E! red carpet commentator Giuliana Rancic, Gunn explained that she chose the dress due to it’s old hollywood glamour and stylish lace.
‘I love the fabric and the material,’ she gushed. ‘It fits like a glove.’
Highlighting Skyler’s simple appearance, Giuliana, who sported a powder-blue dress adorned with silver accents, inquired of the actress, “What do you feel more comfortable in, a glamorous gown or mom jeans?”

Unrecognisable: Gunn, who plays Skyler in the hit show, looked polished and elegant in a light pink floor-length number, which was given a modern twist with a black lace bodice
Glowing: Gunn opted for a subtle make-up pallet that showed off her youthful skin, and showcased a pair of enourmous pearl earrings under a blonde up ‘do
‘I prefer this look to Skyler’s look,’ the blonde star replied, laughing. ‘I always wondered why Skylar couldn’t use some of the drug money to buy a nice gown, just once!’
The off-the-shoulder dress served to highlight Anna’s toned and tanned frame, as did her lack of jewellery.
Wearing her blonde hair in a loose up ‘do, Gunn was able to show off her huge pearl droplet earrings, which was her only bling aside from a large diamond on her right hand.
When it came to her make-up, the pretty actress glowed thanks to a natural pallet that didn’t detract from her overall look.
When commenting on the upcoming finale of cult hit Breaking Bad, Anna was careful no to give anything away.

Oops! Anna still managed to look glamourous even when stumbling after getting caught up in the train of her dress

Successful duo: Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman, and Bryan Cranston, who plays Walter White, posed together on the carpet
‘Oh boy, anything really can happen,’ she said. ‘Look we’ve been trained like the CIA to within an inch of our lives not to reveal anything. And the audience will appreciate that. It’s apocalyptic!’
Luckily all Anna’s talent and hard work paid off and on the night she scooped the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
Meanwhile, her on-screen husband Bryan Cranston, 57, talked about the possible reasons for the show’s success.
‘I think everyone wants to be a bad guy and cook crystal meth and murder people,’ he joked, before going on to comment on the show’s ending.
‘Next week is our final episode,’ he confirmed. ‘It’s bittersweet, because you’ve come to a close, but we’re finishing at just the right time. The ending is perfect and unapologetic.’

Larking about: Dean Norris (left), who is best known for portraying DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking bad, had fun greeting friends on the carpet

Slick: Norris kept it classic with a black tuxedo and white shirt, and chose to wear a long tie instead of a more typical bow-tie
When asked whether there will be a spinoff to follow, Cranston teased: ‘We’ll have to see if anyone survives the holocaust!’
He then confirmed that a prequel called Better Call Saul, surrounding the lawyer character of Saul, is currently being discussed.
Meanwhile, Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman on the show, didn’t mention the future of the series, but he did comment on the relationship he has with his wife of four months. Lauren Parsekian.
‘We’re so ridiculously in love,’ he enthused. ‘It’s on such a different level.’
‘It’s like an obsession I have, I always ask her: “Is it difficult being so beautiful, is it fun being so fun?”
Paul lost out to Boardwalk Empire’s Bobby Cannavale in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series.
Following Bryan and Aaron up the red carpet was Dean Norris, who plays DEA agent Hank Schrader on the show.
Dressed in a classic black tuxedo, Norris larked about as he greeted friends at the event.
