Jude Chukwuka, a Nigerian actor, has revealed that he was approached by a group of young people who believed he was the father of controversial rapper Naira Marley.

The veteran actor claimed that while on a movie shoot in Ikorodu, Lagos state, local boys surrounded him and accused his son, Marley, of Mohbad’s death.

Chukwuka, also known as Marlian daddy, went viral years ago after posting a video of himself dancing to the ‘Soapy’ crooner’s song. He spoke about his terrifying experience during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, which was hosted by gospel singer Deborah Ajayi.

He stated that he explained to the local boys that he cannot be the artist’s father because their names are different, and that any problems Naira Marley had with Mohbad did not involve him.

“When I went to Ikorodu for a shoot, a lot of people gathered around me to say it is my child that killed Mohbad,” Chukwuka said in part.
