Mark Zuckerberg has recently been stepping up his fashion game, and his latest move left his 15.6 million Instagram followers both amused and surprised. In a playful nod to his ongoing style evolution, Zuckerberg dressed up as pop star Benson Boone for his wife Priscilla Chan’s 40th birthday celebration.

At the party, Zuckerberg became the center of attention when he appeared in a sparkling blue jumpsuit, mimicking the style of the 22-year-old musician. This unexpected fashion choice added a fun twist to the already festive occasion.

Priscilla’s birthday extravaganza was nothing short of lavish, featuring five luxurious outfit changes and an ornate cake that reflected the grandeur of the event.

In a video shared by Zuckerberg, the 40-year-old tech mogul humorously recreated Boone’s Grammy performance of “Beautiful Things.” During the high-end, black-tie affair, he dramatically revealed the glittery jumpsuit hidden beneath his tuxedo.

The unexpected performance began with Zuckerberg in formal attire, only for him to surprise attendees by unveiling the sequined outfit beneath, much to the amusement of party guests.

‘Your wife only turns 40 once!’ the caption read. ‘Shoutout to @bensonboone for the jumpsuit and new single.’

Reactions to his lip-sync act were mixed, with some commenters describing it as “the cringiest thing” and others attributing it to a “midlife crisis,” reflecting a range of opinions on his bold sartorial choice.

However, it looked like the former American Idol contestant approved, as he commented, ‘I can’t believe my eyes.’

Benson reposted the video of the Meta creator wearing his custom jumpsuit on his own Instagram story, writing, ‘@zuck, you’re wild for this.’

He also poked fun at his own viral moment, when he was seen adjusting himself when he thought the camera had panned away.

‘I hope his nuts are okay,’ Benson commented on a post about the party, writing in solidarity, ‘That thing is so tight.’

Benson’s adjustment of his nether regions shocked members of the Grammy audience, and he later addressed the moment on his Instagram Stories.

‘Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight that thing was aggressively restricting in certain areas,’ he wrote about his viral crotch grab.

The Ghost Town hitmaker also took to TikTok to share his feelings on the creative cosplay, writing, ‘Mark how did you get my jumpsuit. How.’

In another video he asked who wore the jumpsuit better.

The original mesh jumpsuit is a custom creation designed by his stylist Monty Jackson with flared legs and an Elvis-inspired open front, leading to rumors that Benson loaned out his bespoke ensemble for the evening.

‘Somebody should tell Mark that impersonating someone else is against his own community guidelines,’ one commenter quipped.

‘He has a way of acquiring things without your consent,’ another said.

‘You clicked “allow access” on FB and that gave him access to everything you own,’ another fan weighed in.

The fact he has the funds to hire you but chose to impersonate you is crazy,’ another person weighed in.

Benson’s fans called the billionaire’s unexpected impersonation ‘identity theft’ and described the former Harvard student as ‘the king of stealing ideas.’
