Braith Anasta has officially moved on following his split from fiancée Rachael Lee, with the former NRL star rekindling a romance from his past.

The 43-year-old, who had a remarkable career with the Bulldogs and Roosters, is currently dating Sydney publicist Sara Bray – a person he first had a relationship with nearly two decades ago.

Over the weekend, Sara proudly shared a cosy photo with the footy great while the pair enjoyed a long lunch.

She wore a chic polka-dot blouse and sunglasses while holding a glass of wine in hand as Braith smiled beside her.

‘He makes me happy 20 years later,’ she captioned the snap.

Friends were quick to jump into the comments section to celebrate the reunion.

The romance reveal comes as Braith’s ex-fiancée Rachael Lee shared her own happy news.

The 36-year-old posted a sunlit beachside photo alongside her new partner, Bra Boy Evan Faulks, and announced they’re expecting their first child together.

‘Summer baby on its way,’ she wrote, adding a sunflower emoji.

In the picture, Rachael lay back on the sand in a strapless black swimsuit, giving a peace sign, while Faulks smiled behind her, dressed in black boardshorts.

Messages of support quickly flooded in from friends and fellow celebrities. ‘Congratulations ❤️,’ Zoe Marshall posted, while MAFS bride Domenica Calarco added: ‘Congratulations xxx.’

Rachael and Braith ended their engagement in late 2022. They share a daughter, Gigi, while Anasta is also dad to 11-year-old Aleeia with ex-wife Jodi Gordon.

Braith made headlines last August after putting out a call for single women to date him. 

He appeared on 2Day FM’s Jimmy and Nath to confirm he was single and looking for a new partner, adding he had ‘picky’ taste.

It comes after Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed his short-lived romance with Evie Tziomakis came to an end earlier in 2024.

On the breakfast show, the former footballer was asked, ‘What’s a girl got to do to get a date with Braith Anasta?’ and his answer was very direct.

‘Well they’ve got to be not pregnant! I feel like I’m on The Bachelor now,’ he joked.

‘I’m pretty cruisy right now, I’m open to any offers! I don’t have much time but if I can make it work, I’ll meet them at the Coogee Pavilion tonight at 4pm.’

Braith also recently opened up about his love life on the Two Doting Dads podcast.

Hosts Matty ‘J’ Johnson and Ash Wicks asked the NRL legend about dating as a single parent.

‘It’s tough, I’ve got two kids to two different women,’ he said, before Matty asked Braith when he introduces the kids to new romances.

‘Second time round I’m a bit more wary of it because I don’t want my kids going through that again.’

Braith said it has been ‘two and a half years’ since he has been single, neglecting to mention his recent romance with Tziomakis.

‘It’s been probably two and half years I’ve been single and when you meet women, all of this comes into account, and you’re never really certain, right?

‘I’m certainly not in a hurry if I meet a girl. It’s got to be right.’
