A former reality TV star who describes himself as a “swinger” has been implicated in a shocking crime spree, alongside an alleged partner. Prosecutors contend that their actions included drugging and sexually assaulting a minor, possessing child exploitation materials, and engaging in sexual acts with animals.

Tony McCollister, aged 43, faces a staggering 30 charges. These include four counts of rape, one count of corrupting another with drugs, five counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of child endangerment, 13 counts related to pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor or impaired person, and four counts of sexual conduct with an animal, as outlined by the Warren County Prosecutor’s office in Ohio.

Erica Lynne Grove, also 43, has been charged with 24 offenses. Her charges include four counts of rape, one count of corrupting another with drugs, five counts of gross sexual imposition, eight counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, two counts of child endangerment, and four counts of sexual conduct with an animal.

The charges emerged following a tip-off from Google in June 2025, which flagged “possible child sexual abuse material” linked to a specific IP address. A press release dated February 2 from the Warren County Prosecutor reveals that subsequent search warrants allowed authorities to trace the material back to an account associated with McCollister.

Investigators discovered videos depicting McCollister and Grove involved in sexual acts with two dogs, according to the official release.

On December 27, Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley informed TMZ that McCollister’s animals were seized and assured that they “are being well cared for” following their removal from his custody.

Initially, McCollister was charged for possession of child sexual abuse material and sex with the dogs, while Grove faced charges for sex with the dogs. 

As the investigation continued, authorities found evidence that the pair had drugged a child, who was under the age of six, “for the specific purpose of raping and engaging in various other types of sexual assault of the child,” noted the release. Among the findings were child sexual abuse material involving the child in question. 

“Just when we thought that sex with the dogs was going to be the most horrific part of this case, the detectives discovered evidence of the drugging and raping of a little girl,” Warren County Prosecutor David P. Fornshell said in the release. “I’m sitting in a room full of people who investigate and prosecute child sexual abuse cases on a daily basis, we’re reviewing the evidence, and it’s just silence. It’s really difficult to even process.”

Back in 2015, McCollister starred in the short-lived reality show Neighbors with Benefits about the lives of swinger couples. The show was canceled after two episodes. In 2015, McCollister and his then-wife told Fox 19 that they wanted to spread awareness and normalize stigmas about their lifestyle. 

Grove and McCollister are both in custody at the Warren County Jail. Bail has not yet been set for both suspects, according to jail records. Both suspects will be arraigned on Feb. 4 in Warren County Common Pleas Court. 

The pair have not yet obtained attorneys, a spokesperson from the Warren County Clerk of Courts, told Oxygen, adding that neither suspect has yet entered a plea. Fornshell told Oxygen in an email that the aforementioned information will be known on Feb. 4.
